Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using Veylo. They form an agreement between you and John Tawadros, the individual who operates Veylo from Queensland, Australia. By using Veylo, you agree to use the app responsibly and lawfully.
Who Provides Veylo
Veylo is operated by John Tawadros, an individual based in Queensland, Australia. In these Terms, “Veylo”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to John Tawadros as the operator of the Veylo service.
Beta App
Veylo is currently in beta. Features may change, be unavailable, contain errors, or be removed. Beta access may be limited or revoked while the service is being tested.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity that happens through your account. Do not create fake, misleading, abusive, or unauthorized accounts.
Acceptable Behaviour
You must not use Veylo to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, abuse, or target another person.
- Post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
- Impersonate another person, university, organization, or staff member.
- Share private information about another person without permission.
- Spam, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service.
User Content
You are responsible for the posts, messages, status updates, profile details, and other content you provide. You grant Veylo permission to store, display, transmit, and process that content as needed to operate the app.
Acceptance
Before creating posts, comments, messages, group chats, or profile-photo submissions, you must actively accept the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in the app.
Moderation
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or ban users if we believe the app is being misused, if users are at risk, or if these Terms are violated. Veylo may also review reports, block-related safety issues, and pending profile photo submissions.
University Access
Veylo may use university, campus, degree, and student email information to support student discovery and campus-specific functionality. Verification does not mean Veylo is endorsed by any university.
No Emergency Use
Veylo is not an emergency, safety, or official university communications service. Do not rely on Veylo for urgent help, emergency response, or official campus alerts.
Leaving The Service
You can delete your account directly in the app from Profile > Delete account. When you do, Veylo removes your account and associated in-app data. Any retention policy for legal, safety, or abuse-investigation records must be published separately before it is used.
